In 2002, the farm operated as a wholesale native plant nursery. At the time, there was only one 0.6 hectare vineyard of the original Chenin Blanc planted in 1987, which won Best White Wine and Best Wine Overall at the Nedbank/WINE Magazine Green Wine Awards 2009. Over the next few years the farm was transformed into an organic winery.
